Aquira Server
Aquira requires two Server components, SQL and the Aquira Service. A third component, IIS, is required for some features. These may be hosted on the same machine or spread across several physical or virtual hosts.
Server Operating System
Supported Operating System Versions:

Notes:
- We recommend Windows Server 2016 for new installations.
- We require the latest Service Pack and updates are applied.
SQL Server

- Express
- Standard
- Enterprise
Notes:
- We recommend using the latest version of SQL for new installations.
- Only 64-bit versions of SQL Server are supported.
- We require the latest Service Pack and updates are applied.
- There are many limitations with SQL Express edition, please contact RCS for advice when considering SQL Express.
Internet Information Services (IIS)
IIS is required for the mobile web application Aquira2GO, for third-party access to the Web API or for OneClick Client deployment using Microsoft Click Once over IIS.
IIS version 7.0 or above is supported.
Server Hardware Specifications
Hardware moves fast, therefore for larger sites RCS will provide guidance for the required hardware.

- Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate
- Windows 8 Pro or Enterprise
- Windows 8.1 Pro or Enterprise
- Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise
Notes:
- We recommend Windows 10 for new installations.
- For each Operating System, the 64bit edition is preferred.
- We require the latest Service Pack and updates are applied.
- Other editions, such as Home, are not supported.
Workstation Hardware Specifications
- CPU: 3GHz or faster
- RAM: 8GB or more
- Disk Size: At least 400MB of available disk space is required for the Client application installation. Or 110MB available space for a OneClick deployment.
- Connectivity: Each Workstation must have high quality network access to the Aquira Server via your internal network or via a VPN connection. If using WAN or VPN, bandwidth, latency and reliability are important considerations.
Note:
Client deployments using Terminal Server, RemoteApp or Citrix are supported including Cloud hosting within Azure or AWS.
Aquira2GO Client
Any modern Mobile or Desktop Browser on any device is supported.
We recommend Google Chrome for the best User experience.
Networking
A Windows Domain environment is recommended for the Servers and Workstations. Please contact RCS if you are planning a deployment in a Windows Workgroup environment.
